For 2017 Spring Nyx launched the Perfect Filter Palette, five different combinations to choose, each cointaining ten shades of matte and shimmer finish.
Marine Layer / Gloomy Days / Olive You / Rustic Antique / Golden Hour
I must say that the choice was very difficult, but my passion for hot and nude tones won and I chose the Rustic Antique. In Italy, the palettes cost 17.90€ and last 24 months from the opening. After a couple of days using it, I’m ready to talk about it!
Here are the swatches:
From the first swatch it was love at first sight: the colors application is perfect and they are very pigmented, almost creamy. Perhaps only the first white in the upper left and the last purple in the lower right are less pigmented, but with a few extra passes they get the same result as others! Some colors are slightly dustier, but the fallout is really minimal and they blend well. The yield is better if you use an eye primer. I noticed that these eye-shadows’ application look better if applied with your fingers or with a flat brush rather than with a gradient brush because their formula works better if “pressed”.
If you like hot and neutral tones, I recommend it! What do you think? Have you tried one of these palettes? What’s your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
I hope this review has been helpful to you,
